The Rules 

1. To be played under FIFA rules - Any player misconduct will be confined to the tournament, except for violent conduct

 2. Pool play:

Win 3 points

Draw 1 point

Loss 0 points

 3. Section placing’s decided by:

a.      Points

b.      Goal differential (GF-GA)

c.      If b is equal GF

d.      If still tied head to head in the pool

e.      Penalty shoot out to decide pool winner

 4. Colours:

The second named team changes for clashes.

 5. Post Section Play:

a. 12 minutes each way, 1 minute half time turn around.

b. Final, 15 minutes each way. If a draw after full time, the game is decided by penalties as per FIFA rules. No extra time.  

6. Substitutions:

a. In all games, incl. the finals, rolling subs will be allowed from the tournament named list of 16.

b. Substitute must enter the field of play from half way.

 7. Cautions:

a. Two yellow cards Automatic one match suspension

b. One red card Automatic one match suspension

c. Two red cards Automatic tournament suspension.

d. Two yellow cards in the tournament one match suspension

Hi Everybody,

Just briefly want to advise you of the protocol for the tournament this Sunday at Tullet park.

-         All pitches will be roped off, spectators will be on one side of each pitch and officials and players will be on the other side while the match is in progress.

-         If you are uncertain of where to be, there will be Ground Co-ordinators designated to each pitch – they will be located on halfway of every pitch.

-         Each side must be ready to take the field 5 minutes prior to kick off. – They must assemble either side of the Ground Co-ordinator.

-         There is to be no training or warming up on the League Pitch (nearest Claridges Rd )

-         If there is a clash of strips the away team has to change (please be prepared for this prior to arriving at the tournament)

-         Home team (first named team) is to supply the match ball.

-         Match length – 13^th Grade & 15^th Grade will be 12 minute halves with 1 minute turn-a-round (strictly)

-         Match length – 14^th Grade will be 20 minute halves with 5 minute turn-a-round.

-         All referees to check in with Ground Co-ordinator prior to start of each game.

-         All referees will give the match result to the Ground Co-ordinator after each game.

-         If any concerns over the tournament progressing due to poor weather, please check the website www.nomadsafc.org.nz – we will make a decision at 730am on Sunday. If unsure please contact either Dale on 0274 974 961 or Hamish on 021 159 2779.

-         Failure to supply full and accurate list of registered players to myself  before the day of the tournament will mean your side will be ineligible to contest the play offs, should your side make it this far.

-         All teams must be financial before the start of the tournament

-         Food and beverages will be available for sale at the ground on the day of the tournament.

-         There will be an award for the Player of the Tournament for each grade. The opposition coach will vote on this after each game. This is to be given to the Ground Co-ordinator.

-         There will be a Presentation to the Tournament Winners for each grade plus a Player of the Tournament award for each grade at the completion of the Finals.  – This Presentation will be made by former All White Gareth Rowe in front of the club rooms after the finals have been played.
