2007 information 

* Kaiapoi pre season.  The reserve team failed to retain the trophy for this tournament on Sunday 18^th March. Congratulations to Burnside on winning the final. They were into the game quicker than the Nomads boys.Going behind to two goals in 25 minutes, having failed to deal with a couple of Keith Grosvenor assists. For the following 65 minutes we took the game to them and had the better of the game. As in most games you get the clear chances to get back on terms, but on this day we couldn’t find the net.

Never mind, back on the trail of winning the regular season competitions.

Pre Season The Nomads Reserve team are playing in the Kaiapoi AFC Pre Season Tournament at Kendall Park on Sundays.

The kicks off times are at 10am and 12 o’clock. Results of game played: 

Sunday 18^th draw 2 – 2 with Burnside AFC 1^st team. 

The lads had the better of the first half, scoring the opening goal but allowing Burnside to get back on level terms by the break. Nomads second goal came early in the second half. Burnside started to get more in to the game and got the 2^nd after a defensive tangle.  A bit of a hit out for the players, some of them have not had a training session yet. Therefore we should be better organised when the regular season gets under way.
